Nigel Walker is a multimedia journalist based in California. He is currently working with USAID covering projects in Nepal and beyond.
His film work has appeared on networks around the world including the BBC, ARTE, Al Jazeera and Canal Plus, amongst others. His multimedia articles have been published in Evotis, a quarterly publication by the UC Davis One Health Institute.
Nigel produced and directed "Shadow Work" a documentary film on conflict in Ivory Coast. His work is currently being used as evidence in a war crimes tribunal at the International Criminal Court in The Hague. Nigel testified in May 2016 for the prosecution.
In 2008, he was nominated for the Olivier Quémener Award in Journalism by Reporters Without Borders for his work in West Africa.
